Judith Geiger Donlon studied art and design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 1995, she started Designhead Studio, creating logos, stationery, brochures, posters, and invitations for corporations, artists, and festivals.

In 1999, Judith fell in love with the art of card making: "I designed a card to send to a friend who was going through a hard time. The next morning I woke up realizing that I had found my niche. I have always loved working small and designing with emotion, and I wanted to create art that could help people communicate feelings. I decided not to take on any more graphics jobs, but instead to concentrate on creating a line of greeting cards."

All of Judith's cards carry her own artwork--a combination of photography, drawing, collage, and digital techniques. They are printed on acid-free textured paper with a deckle edge, conveying a natural, human warmth that is very different than the feeling from a smooth, glossy paper stock. The end result is a unique, fine-art card suitable for framing.
